Why do I need paperwork?
- All motorised vehicles must have up-to-date documents to prove that your bike are fit for the road.
- As a rider, it’s down to you to know which documents you must have and what they are for.
- You don’t have to carry these legal documents around with you all the time. However, you must be able to show them to a police officer if you are asked to do so, usually within 7 days.
- Being organised and keeping all your documents in one place will save you time and energy!
